Bob Frawley

Bob Frawley is the Director of Early Childhood Initiatives at the New York State Council on Children and Families in Albany, NY. He completed a MA and doctoral studies in sociology at the New School for Social Research.

Working on issues related to children and family services for the last twenty years on the state level, Mr. Frawley has worked specifically on issues related to early childhood and school-age child care for the last fifteen years. Prior to coming to the Council on Children and Families, he worked in residential care services for adolescents and directed family counseling and school-age child care programs.

Mr. Frawley has been a member of the NYSAEYC Governing Board for the last seven years and has served on the Nominations Committee, and Finance Committee. He is currently Co-Chair of the Finance Committee and the Fund Development Committee.
