Membership Committee

The Membership Committee of NYSAEYC seeks to recruit and maintain an active, diverse, inclusive membership by refining and expanding upon currently used outreach, service provision and retention strategies. Presently the committee is engaged in the following tasks:

1. Creating promotional material templates for local affiliate chapters to be used in conjunction with national NAEYC marketing products
2. Modifying a variety of membership materials for local affiliate use including telephone surveys and lapsed member surveys
3. Developing strategies for welcoming and orienting new members to the organization
4. Planning strategies targeted specifically for increasing student membership
